Description

The picturesque Lighthouse is located right next to the Sopot pier. It has an extraordinary history that began at the beginning of the 20th century.

Why? Because it's actually a chimney. The balneological facility needed a boiler room, and the designers decided that such an "unusual" chimney discharging exhaust gases would not disfigure the area. They were right, today the history of the Lighthouse in Sopot arouses emotions, as does the view from its terrace of the Bay of Gdańsk and the Tricity Panorama.
